Técnica Meisner en Inglés.
ACTOR TRAINING COURSE
Once a week, every Tuesday afternoon, we will come together to experience, learn and grow as actors in this acting group aimed at getting in touch with our own true voice. To act is to behave truthfully under given circumstances, moment to moment. To be in the moment means to be open to your natural impulses. And this will be the focus of this acting group: to allow ourselves to be truly ourselves.
We will work on Meisner Technique, understanding the importance of true listening and behaviour. We will work on contemporary theatre scenes and monologues and use improvs as a way to approach the emotional circumstances of our work. Theater games and dynamics will also be part of our classes, in order to free ourselves up and allow for our spontaneity to come through.
All this work will lead up to a final play which we will rehearse for a couple months and perform at the end of the course.
